50 Legs Boston Marathon Team Application

Thank you for your interest in running on the 50 Legs Boston Marathon Team. We are very happy that you are considering our charity to not only run for but to help raise much needed funds to help our recipients receive the BEST quality prosthetics that they could not otherwise afford on their own.
Our 2025 50 Legs Marathon team will consist of (12) runners. We are a smaller sized team with true team environment. We have had a team running the Boston Marathon since 2016. This team originated from the Boston Marathon Bombing. Celeste Corcoran was a spectator at the 2013 Boston Marathon waiting for her sister Carmen Acabbo to cross the finish line. Celeste was critically injured at the first bombing site and lost both of her legs. 50 Legs reached out the very day Celeste lost her legs. They provided the support we provide to so many recipients. High quality prosthetics, travel payment and accommodations during her stay. This is where the funds our runners raise go to. You will see first hand during your marathon journey with us that your legs Truly do Get Legs for others in need to help them live the best life they can.
Our 2025 minimum fund raising commitment per runner will be $12,500. Our goal this year is to raise an average minimum of $15,000 per runner. We know this number may seem like A LOT but we continually see our goals get simply crushed by our runners year after year!
Applications are reviewed when they are received. A non refundable $50.00 application fee is due at time of submittal.
